Error while booting Intel Edison

Hi there,

I have an Intel Edison with an extension board to communicate with another device via zigbee. This week when I tried to boot the board I got some errors and after some manually reboots I'm having these messages and the board is rebooting unstoppable. I want to know what I can do to fix this.

PS: I tried to supply via USB (PC Port) and via cellphone charger.

Hi FocaaBR,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel® Edison™ Platform.

I'm sorry to hear that your Edison isn't booting correctly. Have you tried to re-flash your image?

Please let me know if this fixes your issue, have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Hi there,

I did not try to re-flash the image. Could you please send me a link that explain how to do that (Of course I will search about it but it would be perfect to compare infos). Right now I'm using the Edison in a custom PCB that fit my needs for my project and I'm using an ublinux image to boot from a SD card. So the process should be to re-flash the ublinux image and leave the SD with the data or should I remake all?

Thank you.

Hi FocaaBR,

Re-flash means to flash again your image, here is the procedure with the Yocto image: https://software.intel.com/en-us/flashing-the-firmware-on-intel-edison-board IoT - Flashing your firmware manually | Intel® Software . Unfortunately, I don't have too much experience with Ubilinux, since we handle issues with the Yocto image. I think that in here https://emutex.com/products/ubilinux Emutex - ubilinux they might be able to help you further.

Best Regards,
