I read in the getting started tutorial how to boot from the SD card. I suppose that your image meta-clanton already come with DHCP and SSH but when I connect the ethernet to my router, it doesn't see the galileo as connected. How can i connect via SSH to the galileo?
I setup Galileo with the SD Software. I think it's working but (I'm noob on SSH):
How i can connect to Galileo via wireless using SSH?
I connect it at the router and it releases the IP for the board.
Then via terminal I digit:
and it asks me the password. Wich password? doesn't it create and store it on the SD?
I'm a bit confused, can someone can help me pls?
That's the temrinal print:
The authenticity of host '192.168.1.6 (192.168.1.6)' can't be established.
RSA key fingerprint is 55:37:2d:9a:55:24:8a:a6:bc:94:5c:1a:93:75:f2:93.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes
Warning: Permanently added '192.168.1.6' (RSA) to the list of known hosts.
After copying image files to sd card I tried ethernet connection with SSH and board responded me to IP 192.168.1.5 user root no password, it seems that there is no file system mounted
System returns this information :
Linux clanton 3.8.7-yocto-standard # 1 Tue Oct 1 00:09:01 IST 2013 i586 GNU/Linux
A little step forward
very strange, are you sure to ping the correct ip? because I had a similar problem, solved formatting the sd card and putting the files from windows 7 (before I copied all from ubuntu). But before this, I wasn't able to ping the card...
you should see the sd led blinking a lot in the first minute of boot.
