FCC certification for product with Edison

Hello,

I am planning to use Edison module in the finished product. The Edison will be mounted on a custom PCB and the maximum trace frequency on this custom PCB is 400KHz of I2C bus.

I have couple questions regarding FCC.

1. Do we need separate FCC certification/verification for our product? Unintentional radiator tests?

2. Do we need to display Edison's FCC ID on our product? As mentioned here http://f2labs.com/fcc-labeling FCC Labeling Requirements - FCC Symbol - F2 Labs

Thanks,

- Aditya

Hi Bansal,

Thank you for your patience. Regarding your question, you will need a separate FCC verification for your final product and will need to display that FCC ID.
