Galileo Board not completing the blink example

Hi Guys ,

I have been trying to run the blink example on the board and it kept getting stuck during upload for a while so i end up removing the board from the power supply . After following some solutions in the other threads which had a similar problem i did the following :

  1. Updated the firmware of the board to 1.0.4
  2. used the Arduino 1.6.0 IDE

After trying to upload the blink example again I got the same problem. In both versions of Arduino IDE it gets stuck at this part :

Sketch uses 57,967 bytes (0%) of program storage space. Maximum is 10,000,000 bytes.

So how do i rectify this ? or is the board damaged ?

thank you

Several people have this problem (including me), then after suffering much decided to study a way to save the sketch directly in the directory without uploading the IDE.

I will open a discussion with the procedures performed to succeed in doing this.

I believe that many have tried different ways to solve the problem by switching between USB ports on the Windows device manager, rebooting Galileo, restarting the PC ...

More is not always work and eventually becomes very annoying sometimes ..

So I started to copy the compiled file which is generated in W7 C: \ Users \ Antonio \ AppData \ Local \ Temp \ build8648427474810676811.tmp / "programa.cpp.elf"

and I am saving to a USB drive and downloading it in the sketch directory Galileo.

The details already posted in a new discussion.

Any questions or suggestions just say so!
