Get Arduindo Serial.println() messages on the Linux of the Edison board

Hello. I tried to get messages from this Arduino sketch:

void setup() {

Serial.begin(9600);

}

void loop() {

delay(2000);

Serial.println("some text");

}

On linux system of the Edison through terminal I put:

sudo screen /dev/ttyGS0 9600

but terminal is acting up now.

Help me please.

Hi DufeRob,

The Serial.println() statement prints the data in the Serial Monitor of the Arduino IDE. You will have to open it from the Arduino IDE to see the data.
