Hi Solokhan,

Thank you for your interest in the Curie module.

To provide a better assistance, we would like you to ask some more questions about your situation.
  1. Which tutorial or guide are you using to setup your Arduino 101 board? We would like to check the steps you're following to see if there's anything that should be done different.
  2. What OS are you using to configure your board?
  3. Is the tutorial you're following tested on an Arduino 101 board?
We'll be waiting for your reply.

Regards,

http://blog.protoneer.co.nz/grbl-arduino-library/ these are the 2 links i have been going off of. But Im assuming the arduino 101 currie has completely different setup as to where going about installing grbl this way wont work. And i believe this has not been tested on the arduino 101 board by anyone else just yet. But i tried it myself with no success and im running this all on windows 10

Hi Solokhan,

Yes, I checked that as well and it hasn't been tested with any platform based on the Curie module, including the Arduino 101. Given the differences between the Atmel processor from the standard Arduino boards and the Atom, in which the Curie module is based, it is not likely that it will work with the Arduino 101 platform.

In any case, you can keep trying to make it work and share your updates with the Community.

Regards,
