All of the literature we have seen states that the Joule supports Ubuntu Core - Snappy. What do we have to do to install this?

Hi Thierry,
Could you please tell us what you mean exactly by display? I'm not sure if you're able to access the serial console. Are you getting something on the screen or nothing at all?
Regarding your question about Ubuntu Core, only Ostro is currently supported, but we are working on other OS options right now.

Hi Pablo, I had a bad HDMI cable.... I got past that, but now I am trying to figure out how to get Ubuntu Snappy installed, I created a Bootable Ubuntu Snappy USB, but nothing happens when I plug it in. It does work on my Desktop PC though.
thanks

Hi Thierry,
We're glad to know that you solved the HDMI issue you were having. About Ubuntu Core, we are now working to make other OS distributions available (Ostro is the only working OS for the Joule right now), I guess that's why you're not getting any results with your bootable USB.

You may get better luck copying the reference OS kernel around ;-)
