HDMI output turning off.

I'm trying to use several STCK1A32WFC for digital signage.

I have everything working but my HDMI output keeps turning off.

I have checked the power settings and they are all turned to NEVER turn off.

Is their something I can modify in the regedit or some other setting to prevent it from turning off.

Thank you,

Tom K.

Just had the idea of updating the display driver. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Another idea is to change to the newer model stick: STK1AW32SC

Hi VSG.Tom.K,

Could you please attach the result of the Intel® System Support Utility?

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

What resolution are you setting? What's the model of the TV or Monitor you are connecting the Intel® Compute Stick?

Mpinner, I would recommend you to contact your A8 stick® manufacturer in order to install their driver.

Regards,

Hellen.

I have 3 TVs and the compute stick HDMI turns off on all of them after a long period of time.

Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA

Samsung UN55JU640DFXZA

Samsung UN55H6203

As far as resolution, it varies but typically I pick like fit or smart fit or something like that.

The Support Utility has no Ubuntu versions.

I noticed HDMI on my STCK1A8LFC (intel manufactured?) does not work sometimes or flashes on and off.
