Hello binggod513,
Thank you for interest in the Intel® Edison Breakout Board.
I understand that you want to use your Edison as a gateway to receive information from zigbee.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say from zigbee, so I'll assume it means any module or device running the ZigBee protocol.
If that is the case, then it is indeed possible. if that is not the case, please elaborate a bit more on what you mean.
In order to set your Edison as a gateway, please check the following guide:
Easy start: Intel Edison as gateway for IoT and more … https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-23391 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-23391.
Perhaps you'll like to check the following article to gain more knowledge on this kind of systems:
Case study: ZIGBEE* in the Intel® EDISON platform, construction of intelligent conference system power https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/case-study-build-a-smart-conference-system-by-enabling-zig....
I hope you find the previous information useful.
If you have any other question, don't hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
Andres V.
