How can I receive data from socket(TCP) into intel Edison when it is in AP mode?

I've set Edison as a AP mode. but Arduino WiFi examples are for only edison in client mode.

I want to know how to receive buffer(data) from any client into intel Edison in AP mode.

provided a android app send buffer to 123.123.123.123:8899, I want to receive that buffer in Edison.

I'm using Edison breakout board and programming thru Arduino IDE.

eg. like I2C communication.

readBytes(fd)...~~

Hello Dainiel_Heo,

How exactly do you want to transfer data? And where do you want to send it to? Do you want to send data, for example, from your phone to your Edison only? Do you want to send data? In that case, does Wi-Fi direct or STP meets your requirements? Or, are only interested in sending bytes? Do you require the Arduino IDE or can you work from the Linux terminal?

Could you explain us a little bit more about your project? How does it work? What does it do?

Peter.

Hi Daniel,

Have you been able to receive data with the Board?

If not, could you give us more information about what do you want to accomplish?

Regards,

Charlie
