Jump to solution

Before it was required to setup the wifi, but now there's no guide.

Assuming you have flashed yocto, this tells you how to do it. Just click on the instructions for your computers operating system.

ok, so Im following the guide, but every time I try opening the connection I get a blank screen and nothing happens when I press enter twice.

note:

I set the com port to intel edison virtual com port (which is com13) and I set the speed to 115200 baud.

The guide says to use the USB serial port not the virtual com port. Did you try that?

I was actually using a faulty cable or one of the cables was the wrong voltage, because I used the intel edison virtual com port because the serial port wasn't showing. anyway, now Im using a micro usb to usb cable which was provided with the PS4 and now it's running smoothly.
