1) Yes, you can. Actually, It was one of the first experiments I've made. It is not related to the number of cores a CPU has, actually (and Intel Galileo has only one, btw), it is related to the Linux OS, which is able to handle a large number of processes.
2) Yes, it was one of the first experiments I made. Please explain elaborate on what you want to do, and I'll try to help.
