La ventolina non gira. Il led blu è acceso fisso e non risponde alla pressione prolungata del tasto "power" o f8 sulla tastiera. Nemmeno alla pressione del tasto "power" per 3 secondi all'attacco della corrente come consigliato in qualche tread. Neppure alimentarlo dopo aver alimentato il monitor è servito. Ho anche provato a collegare l'alimentazione ad un'altra presa usb, invece del suo alimentatore. Ho provato inoltre a collegare il "Compute stick" a 3 diversi schermi, con prolunga Hdmi e senza. In tutti i casi, il monitor prima rileva che c'è una fonte sulla porta Hdmi e subito dopo dice che non c'è segnale....
Ho dei dati importanti nell'ssd: posso recuperarli in qualche modo se non riesco a tornare ad un normale funzionamento? Sarebbe meglio se si riavviasse, ovviamente: aiutoooooo!!!!!
Hold the power button until the blue LED goes off. Then, press and hold it for 3 seconds and see if you get to the recovery menu.

In order to try to fix this problem, what we can try is a BIOS recovery, since the F8 options or pressing and hold the power key are not working:

When the pc is connected to the electric plug, blue light stays on EVER! Holding power button lot of seconds don't give any effects, the blue light don't go down...
I tried to plug the stick directly to hdmi port, without cable: no effects showed! So, in this way is impossible to update the bios.... My display is ever black.
Which kind of hardware malfunction can produce that signs? Defective power button, burned graphic cars, broken fan? In order of this, the fan don't run. I tried to disconnect it too, without any results... obviusly! In case of hardware failure, can i recovery datas from sdd anyway? Excuse me for my "englanian"...

Hhmmm, holding the power button for 4 full seconds should result in a full power off. This is a hardware feature; it is not maskable; there must be some kind of hardware failure. If you are still under warranty, I would contact Intel to arrange a replacement.

Oops, I didn't answer the last question. If you cannot boot the ICS, you will not be able to retrieve any files off the eMMC. If your files are in the add-in flash card, you can just move the card to another PC and retrieve everything.

Eureka, I solved the problem!
Resigned to defeat, I tried to disassembling the compute Stick, sure to do irreparable damages like desoldering some chip...
Instead I found the solution by disconnecting the buffer battery. After I powered up the pc which turned off.
Subsequently the battery reconnection I re-energized the compute stick that started normally!
