Indoor Positioning For Robot

Hi. I want to make an Indoor Positioning system for my robot with Arduino 101 board with Intel Curie module. For marks I want to use beacons. I think I can make beacon from Intel Edison module or buy beacon. But the main problem is how to make program for Intel Curie to use beacons. Maybe you know which literature and articles describe the same task? Maybe someone have already created similar project?

I understand that you want to use one Edison module as a beacon and one Curie module as a beacon detector. If that is the case, I'll recommend you to read this article http://www.instructables.com/id/Turn-your-Intel-Edison-in-a-Beacon/, in it, Vitor Leal explains how you can turn your Edison module into a beacon by using its Bluetooth capabilities.

 

 

And in order to turn your Curie module into a beacon detector, I suggest this thread https://communities.intel.com/message/417163# 417163 https://communities.intel.com/message/417163# 417163, in it, community member zettez successfully achieves the task of discovering Bluetooth devices with an Edison module (the code that he shared is compatible with your Curie module).
