Hi,

From what repo are you pulling the boost packages? The boost packages are available in AlexT's repo. Follow the instructions here http://alextgalileo.altervista.org/edison-package-repo-configuration-instructions.html Edison Package Repo Configuration Instructions so you can fetch packages from the repo. Use opkg install boost.

Let me know your results.

Hey,

Thanks for your reply, fails and skips stoped coming when I installed the 1.58 instead of 1.6 version of boost, I tried these command :

wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/boost/files/boost/1.58.0/boost_1_58_0.tar.gz http://sourceforge.net/projects/boost/files/boost/1.58.0/boost_1_58_0.tar.gz

tar -zxf boost_1_58_0.tar.gz

cd boost_1_58_0/

./bootstrap.sh

./b2 install

From this tutorial http://docs.kaaproject.org/plugins/servlet/mobile# content/view/15796447 http://docs.kaaproject.org/plugins/servlet/mobile# content/view/15796447

Also I tried opkg install boost & opkg install boost-dev

I'm trying to run pip install gattlib but it fails, I have gatttool, pip & boost installed (from the above commands)

So if anyone manged to install gattlib on the Edison successfully please mention the steps.

UPDATE: I have successfully manged to install boost & gattlib on my edison, maybe the problem was that I used opkg install boost & opkg install boost-dev before installing boost 1.58(as mentioned above).

I flashed my edison & reinstalled pip & boost 1.58 & gattlib worked (without needing to use opkg install boost & opkg install boost-dev).

Thank you
