Intel® Compute Stick STK1A32SC BIOS is it DEAD?

I interrupted the BIOS update process.

Now, MY BIOS IS IT DEAD?

Using BIOS Recovery Instructions for Intel® Compute Stick https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000005902.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000005902.html:

  • 2. Plug the USB device into a USB port of the Intel Compute Stick when it is turned off (not in Hibernate or Sleep mode). If you're using a USB keyboard/mouse, you will need a multiport USB hub.
  • 3. Press and hold the power button down for 3 seconds. Release it before the 4-second shutdown override.

NOT WORK!!!

My monitor-tv HDMI port not receive signal.

Please, can you help me?

Are you doing the recovery with BIOS 035?

Have you tried testing a different power adapter?

Is there any chance to test a different HDMI port?

Yes. SC0035.bio.

Have you tried testing a different power adapter?

Yes.

Is there any chance to test a different HDMI port?

Yes. I tested it in another monitor-tv that it uses another STK1AW32SC.

Based on your description and troubleshooting it seems like the unit is bricked, so the at this stage the next will be replacing the unit.
