I recently bought an IoT starter kit for Intel Edison, and I am looking for the RNDIS, CDC, and DFU drivers to install. Here is the board information:
Product Name: Edison: Standard Power on Board Antenna + Arduino
Product Code: EDI2ARDUIN.AL.K
S/N: FZEDA625D02069501
Here is where I purchased it:

Hi Steve_Albright,
Thank you for contacting us. You can download the CDC, RNDIS and DFU drivers from this website: https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-edison-windows-32-step2 . Just follow the steps and the installation process in the guide. After installing everything, please confirm the drivers are working properly.
We'll be waiting for your response.

Hi Sergio,
Thanks for this information. My drivers are now up to date, and I am able to connect to the Edison board through the USB ports and have a WiFi connection enabled on the board. But I cannot access the board through the browser on my laptop when I enter either of these addresses:
http://192.168.1.100/ http://192.168.1.100
http://edison.local/ http://edison.local
I am getting a response in Chrome:
This site can't be reached192.168.1.100 refused to connect.

Hi,
Not being able to access the board through a web browser is a known issue with the current image. This has been reported to the engineering team and they're working to find on a fix. The workaround is to download and flash a previous image. Version 146 didn't have this issue and can be downloaded here:
Flash this image and let us know if the problem persists.
We appreciate your understanding.

Just to confirm, when I log out of a Putty session on my edison board, here is the version information that is displayed:
Poky (Yocto Project Reference Distro) 1.7.3 edison ttyMFD2
Is this a version that has a problem with access through the web browser?
Thanks,
Steve

You can see the image version using the command configure_edison –version. If the output is "Could not determine firmware version information. Quitting. none" then you're using either "Release 3.0" or "Release 3.5". The image we recommended above is labeled as "Release 2.1" or "ww18-5". If you run configure_edison –version on Release 2.1 you should see "146" as the output.
Give it a try and let us know your results.

Hi Sergio,
I have installed the image you recommend and got the confirmation of version 146 in the output. The device web page now displays in the browser. Thanks for your support!
