Hi,
I am using the mini breakout board and want to be able to draw data from the LeapMotion controller. Would anyone have any advice on how to do this?
Thanks,

Hi,
I found this very useful guide to use the Edison along with the Leap Motion controller. Take a look at https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2015/07/13/motion-sensing-with-intel-edison https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2015/07/13/motion-sensing-with-intel-edison .

Do you still need assistance with this thread, were you able to use the Leap Motion Controller?

Hello Sergio,
Would the mini breakout board be able to draw data from the leap motion without the arduino?

Yes, this should work on the mini breakout board as well. Notice in the guide, you only need to connect the Multigadget micro USB or J16, digital pin 8 and GND.
For the mini breakout board, you also need to connect to the micro USB port J16, the pin that's mapped to the digital pin 8 in the mini breakout and GND. It's recommended you power your mini breakout board externally as well. Take a look at the hardware guide of the mini breakout board http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/000005574.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/000005574.html to see the GPIO that's mapped to digital pin 8.
