Intel Edison + XBee

Jump to solution

Hi. I am trying to communicate by xbee an arduino and an intel edison.

On the one hand I have an arduino + arduino shield xbee + xbee, and on the other
an intel edison + arduino shield xbee + xbee.

The code that receives messages in API mode works correctly if the enddevice is the arduino and the router is the intel edison. But if the enddevice is the intel edison, it does not receive any messages sent from the coordinator installed in an xbee explorer.

I would like to know if it is possible to use xbee on intel edison with a typical arduino application, or if it is necessary to use phyton for it.

Thank you

I have also seen that I needed to activate JV = 1 and finally I have managed to communicate the coordinator, router and end devices.

Hope this information helps

Thanks.
