I am currently trying to connect with ssh, in order to pass data back and forth from my Edison to my computer and vice versa.
I am having a problem doing this because my Intel Edison is "forgetting" my password. When I say this I mean I set a password and the Intel Edison knows I set a password but doesn't know what it is, thus I can't use my Edison after setting a password because it asks for a password but doesn't remember it.
Is there any way to remedy this problem? Is possible to get onto ssh without setting a password?
Did you already try to flash your Edison? It might be a corrupt image so flashing it would solve it. Is this only happening with SSH or with Serial too? To connect using SSH is necessary to have a password set so this won't be an option. Also, do you get any error message? If so, please paste it here.
If you're unsure on how to flash your Edison, check this guide: /docs/DOC-25154 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-25154.
