Hi ttom,
Thanks for your interest in the Intel Edison Platform.
When you mean the Device page, are you referring to the image attach below?
If you are, you should know that this status page is not available in the latest image versions. Still, if you are interested in displaying this web page you can flash this old image (http://downloadmirror.intel.com/25028/eng/edison-image-ww25.5-15.zip ) in order to do it.
I will be waiting for your reply, have a great day!
Best Regards,

Hi ttom,
You don't need the status page to stream videos in a web page! I recommend you to follow this guide https://github.com/drejkim/edi-cam GitHub - drejkim/edi-cam: Video streaming on Intel Edison , so you can understand better what I'm trying to explain.
We will be awaiting your results, have a nice day!

To install ffmpeg
:
- Navigate to
bin
. - Type
./install_ffmpeg.sh
to run the shell script.
- Navigate to
web/server
. - Install the Node.js packages by typing
npm install
.
what does it mean by "navigate to bin" and "Navigate to web/server
."
in putty or in pc ?
i am using windows 10

Hi ttom,
"Navigate" means to access a directory, so when the instruction state to "Navigate to bin", it means to access the bin directory. Please see the image below, in order to understand what I'm trying to explain:

Hi ttom,
I apologize, maybe I didn't make myself clear you have to access the bin directory inside the edi-cam file, please see the image below, so you can understand better what I'm trying to explain:
If you don't have the edi-cam file remember to use this command: git clone .
I follow the tutorial in GitHub and I manage to view the video stream (See the image below). You should know that all the steps are accurate except the last one "Viewing the video stream". Instead of navigating to http://myedison.local:8080 http://myedison.local:8080, you have navigate to http://youredisonIP:8080 http://youredisonIP:8080, where youredisonIP is the IP address of your Edison, you can see it by using the command: configure_edison --showWiFiIP.
Hope you find this information useful, have a nice day!
