Intel Joule bios update

I want to install Ubuntu Desktop on the Intel Joule 570x, but it has some problems when I follow the official website instructions
My former user has once done with the bios 193 update and I’m not sure whether I should update bios to higher version, cause I’m running Turtlebot3 and it’s said 193 works better
I used a bootable USB to install Ubuntu 16.4 LTS Desktop but installer crashed when copying files to hard disk
So I go back to flash bios again, but things are quite difficult for me
first, I can’t install Intel FlashUsbDriver mentioned in that instruction
second, my PC has not found Intel DnX Driver when I connect USB-C to Joule
Please help me and I’m really stressed out because of this problem recently

did you solve the problem yet? Because I'm facing the same problem and really need this Joule to work so I would appreciate your help.

I'm not sure what's not working properly. Joule is based on Intel Apollo Lake and at least with Linux kernel should simply work.
