Hi @marciarzky,
I would love to help you with this.
First, you need to connect your Galileo to a Serial Terminal and connect it to Wi-Fi (To do this you can follow this guide: https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-galileo-windows-step3 https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-galileo-windows-step3).
After you are connected to Wi-Fi, you can use the command ifconfig in the serial terminal, and you should get an output like this one:
The IP Address is in the red mark, now you can use that IP Address in Intel System Studio following this guide: https://software.intel.com/en-us/creating-an-ssh-connection-in-intel-system-studio-iot-edition https://software.intel.com/en-us/creating-an-ssh-connection-in-intel-system-studio-iot-edition)
I hope you find this information useful.
Regards,
Leonardo R.

Hi @marciarzky,
You need to connect the FTDI cable (Like this one: http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/Cables/USBTTLSerial.htm), and install the recommended driver in the guide: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM%20v2.12.00%20WHQL%20Certified.exe.
After you have installed the driver, you should check the device manager to see if the USB Serial Port is recognized when you connect your device.
I found this guide that you can follow: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/getting-started-with-the-intel-galileo-board-on-windows, it is almost the same guide that I recommended you in the last reply.
If you still have issues, can you send me a screenshot of your device manager?
Have a nice weekend.
Regards,
Leonardo R.

Hi @marciarzky,
It looks like you are following the steps for the Galileo Gen 1 of the guide that I gave you before ( https://software.intel.com/en-us/get-started-galileo-windows-step3), and you have to follow the steps for the Galileo Gen 2, so please follow this guide that I gave you in my last reply to avoid confusions: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/getting-started-with-the-intel-galileo-board-on-windows, you have to install the right FTDI driver to use the serial port, you should see USB Serial Port entry in the (COM & LPT) Ports section of the Device Manager whine you installed it successfully.
I hope you find this information helpful.

Leonardo R.
