Hello JimmyIsTheBoss,

Thanks for reaching out!

When I read your post, something that got my attention is that you mentioned that the driver for the Dell 1390 is not available at Dell's driver page.

So, I started to look for this driver online, however, I found an entry in Dell's community ( http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/network-internet-wireless/f/3324/t/19465472) where a Dell representative mentions that there is no native support for the Dell 1390 wireless card in Linux.

So, it seems as Dell does not support this board on Linux and we won't be able to find an official driver for this wireless card. There are some workarounds for other Linux distributions such as the following:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/1390

https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=187474

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx

You might be interested in trying similar methods. However, this might prove challenging as they install some drivers from the apt-get repositories which source I am not able to find. As an alternative, I'd suggest you to read the following document which explains how to use a wireless card with Galileo if it has Linux support. It also includes some examples of wireless cards that have been tested to work with Galileo.

I hope this information is of help.
