Intel system studio IoT's cpu usage is too high(eclipse)

java thread too much have cpu percentage.

The build does not proceed.

why?

That's a weird issue. Did you try to install Intel System Studio again? If you still have issues, can you give us the specifications of your PC?

I tried reinstalling iot studio and jdk(openjdk/oracle jdk)

I using Getac X500 Rugged book.

CPU : intel i5-4310M vPro

RAM : 8GB

HDD : 500GB

CPU : intel i5-4310M vPro

We need more information about your issue, so could you please provide the following information?

 

 

Can you provide the intel_eclipse_session.log file? To generate it please follow the next steps:
  1. Before launching Intel System Studio, move ISS directory to /tmp (Normally it is in /opt/intell/).
  2. Open a Linux terminal, change to the ISS directory.
  3. Check that the directory contains a file "iss-iot-launcher".
  4. Type "export LOGGING_LEVEL=INFO;./iss-iot-launcher" as command in the terminal, it will generate the log file in the same directory.
We also want to know what version of ISS you are using. And can you try to build the project creating the workspace in /tmp?

We were checking the information provided, and we didn't find issues on it. Maybe the problem is related to docker, so we suggest you to remove the docker installation with the following command:

 

sudo apt-get remove docker docker-engine

 

 

After you have removed docker, please follow the next guide to install it again: https://docs.docker.com/engine/installation/linux/ubuntu/# install-using-the-repository

I followed your advice. remove & install Docker-CE

but the issues are remain...(system studio stop, slow and high CPU usage problem)

And, about your question, according to all the information provided, we verified that Intel System Studio is correctly installed, you can try to install Ubuntu 14.04, it may work.

The system studio intstalled ubuntu 14.04 in vmware is works very well.
