Intel system studio, d2000 and digital sensor. I can not write a program to work with a digital sensor

Jump to solution

I have little experience in using the d2000. I would like to use the Dallas 18b20 digital sensor, but I have not found examples of working with digital input systems. I use Intel system studio and would be glad if you help me with an example of working with a digital sensor.

Hi @nganz ,

Thanks for reaching out. Taking a look at your request I've searched for an example on how to interface the sensor within the Intel® System Studio, unfortunately I couldn't find any.

I did find that the UPM/MRAA libraries do have support for the sensor as noted here http://iotdk.intel.com/docs/master/upm/modules.html, and there are some examples on how to interact with the sensor but unfortunately I do not see the Intel® Quark™ Microcontroller Developer Kit D200 as a supported platform in https://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/mraa. It should be possible to interact with the sensor using the D200 but it may take some effort to get it working, specially since there isn't much documentation or examples on how to do this.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
