IoT analytics don't show data

Jump to solution

I configured an Intel Edison to trasmit data on IoT cloud. All look work fine and if I see in main page I can see many observations are sent:

But if I go in graphics, I don't see any data:

Why?

Hi Ulixxes,

Could you please try with these steps to register the device again?
  1. Remove the device from the dashboard (in case you haven't before).
  2. Run "iotkit-admin reset-code && iotkit-admin reset-components && iotkit-admin initialize" on your Edison.
  3. Request de new device ID by entering "iotkit-admin device-id".
  4. Add the device device in dashboard using this device-id.
  5. Copy activation code from dashboard.
  6. Run "iotkit-admin test". What do you get after this?
  7. Run "iotkit-admin ".
  8. Start the iotkit agent now "systemctl enable iotkit-agent && systemctl start iotkit-agent".
Let us know your results.

Noone know why? It looks to be a platform bug..that is stopping me to continue a Intel project to show in next Maker Faire..

removing all and re-trying the procedure suggested in: https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-iot-platforms-getting-started-cloud-analytics# installing_the_local_agent Intel® IoT Platforms: Getting Started: Cloud Analytics | Intel® Software

I neither can register the device. I'm surprised of that. But the Intel IoT cloud works there are pending issues?

Well done!

I didn't understand exactly why the component is corrupted but after the command iotkit-admin reset-code && iotkit-admin reset-components && iotkit-admin initialize, I repeated all steps and sent again the datas: now works fine, both the registration and data charts:

Thank you very much!
