Is there any way to communicate with Intel Dashboard other than using Intel Edison board?

I want to send and store data collected through sensors to https://dashboard.us.enableiot.com/ui/dashboard# /board IoT Analytics Dashboard(Intel cloud) through Intel Edison board. I've realised that this could be done by a set of commands.

Now, I would llike to access the data stored over IoT Analytics Dashboard by a mobile phone via internet. Is it possible to do so? If yes, what is the protocol I need to use?

You should be able to retrieve the IoT Analytics Dashboard data to their app using REST API. Please take a look at https://github.com/enableiot/iotkit-api/wiki/Data-API Data API · enableiot/iotkit-api Wiki · GitHub

IoT dashboard speaks MQTT, and REST. As long as you do speak the same you should be able to connect I'd say. The examples on https://github.com/enableiot/iotkit-samples enableiot/iotkit-samples · GitHub should give a hint on how to communicate
