Is there any way to use a bluetooth keyboard to wake the STK2m3W64CC from sleep?

I'm using a Rapoo E6700 keyboard for my Win 10 Compute Stick, but I'm unable to wake the Stick from sleep with it. Is there anything I can do to make this work?

Hello Kashaar:

In this case we can try a BIOS update to the latest version and also re-install the Bluetooth driver.

F7 method to do a BIOS update:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005724.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005724.html

This is the .BIO file needed to do the update:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26390/BIOS-Update-CCSKLm30-86A- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26390/BIOS-Update-CCSKLm30-86A-

On the following link you will find the Bluetooth driver, please try that driver:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26112/Intel-Bluetooth-Technology-Based-Driver-for-Intel-Co... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26112/Intel-Bluetooth-Technology-Based-Driver-for-Intel-Co...

Additionally you will find an option on the BIOS that says "wake device from S5 state", please make sure that option is enable.

Any questions, please let me know.

For the Bluetooth driver, it is best to (1) uninstall existing driver, (2) reboot the NUC and then (3) (re-)install the latest driver.

Hi,

I tried all three of these suggestions, but none of them seem to have had an effect. Anything else I could try?

Could it perhaps be a device incompatibility? I could perhaps try and borrow a friend's bluetooth keyboard and see if it makes a difference.

Hello Kashaar:

In regard to your inquiry, yes, it could be a compatibility problem between the stick and the keyboard, there has been some cases when the Bluetooth keyboard gets connected to stick but because of compatibility not all of the features work as they should.

Since you have the option to use a different Bluetooth keyboard, please try that and let us know the results.

Any questions, please let me know.

Hello Kashaar:

I just wanted to check if you were able to test the stick with a different Bluetooth keyboard, and if the problem was resolved or if it still persists?

Also, on the following link you can confirm that the Bluetooth keyboard should wake the stick from sleep S3 state, page 16:

Any questions please let know.

Hi,

I have the same problem.

Microsoft Wedge Keyboard.

Not possible to wake from S3.

Hello GabrielLogan:

In this case, in order for us to provide the best assistance we can regarding the NUC you are using, please submit your inquiry on a new thread; by doing that, we can start from scratch in trying to fix the specific problem your NUC has, and also in the case we need to start an investigation or if we need to replicate the issue.

Regards

Alberto
