Jump to solution

Hi support,

I have recently downloaded and wrote latest image (iot-devkit-prof-dev-image-galileo-20160606) from your website to my Galileo gen 2 board, but Im unable to use npm command... Is there a way to make it work - how to install the module?

Thanks for your advices

Hi autocontlab,

You have to download the packages from the following repository: http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/3.5/iotdk/galileo/i586/. To do this you can use opkg, so follow the next steps:

echo "src npm http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/3.5/iotdk/galileo/i586/" > /etc/opkg/iotdk.conf opkg update opkg install nodejs opkg install nodejs-npm

I hope this works for you, let me know if you have a problem with it.

Regards,
