MCU API to access I2C is missing features

i2c_read - Must have a option or a second implementation to read without write the address. This actually is a issue for me, as my sensor does't work like that.

i2c_write - Same thing.

Ps.: MRAA have this option: readReg (with address) and read (without address).

Could we have the souce code to make the modification? Where should I post this as a feature request?
