I have gone through the process of installing the MCU SDK on Windows 8 and have been successful at flipping a few GPIO so I know the basic setup is working. I am following the instructions on loading the MCU SDK scripts onto the board but cannot find the scripts that setup the ports. For example, the screenshot in https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/545143 Installing the MCU SDK | Intel® Developer Zone shows 'init_DIG.sh', 'init_i2c8.sh', init_mcu_PWM.sh', etc., but none of these scripts are within the installation directory.
Any help would be appreciated.

yp66,
I think what you are looking for is here:
https://software.intel.com/en-us/iot/hardware/edison/downloads IoT - Intel® Edison Download | Intel® Developer Zone
Take a look toward the bottom of the page under Microcontroller (MCU) SDK.
Thanks
Chris

Got it - I was looking in the installation directories on my computer instead.
Thanks!

Could Intel please update this guide. https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/545143# getting_scripts_onto_board Installing the MCU SDK | Intel® Software
There is literally no way to know where I should get the scripts. Infact the guide makes you think that the scripts are in the sdk folder.
