Yesterday I uploaded a simple sketches (a led blinking) to the board and I saw it starting and functioning well.

Today when i plugged in the power i saw the power led turning on but my led not, like it was not starting my sketches so i plugged the board to my pc uploaded again my sketches and my led worked again...

Is it normal for the board to not start my sketch automatically?

I'm kinda new with this world, I always stayed on the software side of the things and trying my hand on the hardware side

Sketch persistence is supported via the SD card interface. See section 1.4 (1.4.2) of the latest software release notes. (at this link: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23171/eng/Galileo_RelNotes_329686_002.pdf http://downloadmirror.intel.com/23171/eng/Galileo_RelNotes_329686_002.pdf)
