Microsoft IOT download unavailable after drop of support?

Jump to solution

Anyone having trouble downloading the Microsoft IOT Windows 8.1 image for the Intel Galileo?

I just came back from vacation to discover that the download is unavailable even after signing-in.

Hi Chamayo,

According to this http://http//ms-iot.github.io/content/en-US/Faqs.htm site, the Galileo board is no longer support by Microsoft* since the new Windows 10 IoT image is available. Maybe they don't let you download the other image because there is a new one available. Anyhow, you might get a better response if you post your question directly in their community: http://ms-iot.github.io/content/en-US/Community.htm Windows IoT - Home

I think you answered my question pretty well.

I went ahead and ordered a Minnowboard Turbot since the Galileo won't do.
