Mongodb and Intel Edison (Yocto)

Jump to solution

Hello Everyone!

Warm greetings.

I am attempting to create a mean stack based around intel edison. My issue is in getting mongodb up and running. No matter what I seem to do I cannot get "mongod" to run.

I have used several installation methods and was wondering if you all might have had any success.

Attempts using:

Some other context - I'm trying to keep everything local for now. I need control over sockets for live access and my company is super paranoid about data.

Thanks!

Ian

Hi Ian,

Following this guide: http://www.instructables.com/id/Daycare-Monitoring-and-Tracking-System-Using-Intel/?ALLSTEPS Daycare Monitoring and Tracking System Using Intel Edison Development Kit - All, which was the first error you had?

Which image version do you have (run the command configure_edison --version)?

When you say that you can't run mongod, are you receiving an error message?

Regards,

Charlie
