Hi there.
Who could help me with motor driver for Intel Edison with Arduino breakout board? I need a motor driver Arduino-style shield(!) which can "work out of the box" without any "magic" with Intel Edison Arduino breakout board.
Anyone know something?
First I checked Seeedstudio Motor shield v2.0 but it didn't work with Edison.
Second was old copy of Adafruit old motor driver. But software isn't supported by the Intel Edison(
P.S. Not shield-edition motor drivers work well with Intel Edison. But I need 100% "work out of the box" suitable Arduino-style shield...(
Thank you in advance:)

Hi,
You can check "Intel Edison, Galileo & Galileo Gen 2 Shield Testing Report" for detailed information of more shields. I believe as long as the shield is going via I2C, it should works.

I'm using Adafruit motor shield v2 and it works well. But as the document mentioned, you probably cannot use the VIN from Arduino breakout board because of some compatibility issue. So you need to use external power pins on the motor shield.
