I have bought a Compute Stick (STK1AW32SC). Everything works fine, it even manages to play games I like etc.
BUT - the mouse is really laggy. It's quite annoying, because it's also laggy on the windows desktop, with no applications running etc.
It's a mouse/keyboard combo using a 2.4GHz (no bluetooth).
However, I was even more surprised when I plugged in a USB mouse directly. It's still the same...that mouse works perfectly on PCs and laptops, it has a very sharp movement.
Is this a bug, hardware problem, windows problem or just a "setting"?
Does anyone else experience this? Again, I have to point out that I'm NOT talking about bluetooth, I know there can be issues with that.
I just found out that there are settings for the display refresh rate. It was set to 50i Hz, I switched to 60p Hz and it seems to be a bit better. But no cigar still...
My recommendations would be, install all windows updates and install the latest graphics drivers.
Graphics drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26182/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Intel-Compute-Stick-STK... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26182/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Intel-Compute-Stick-STK...
Also, I performed a research and found 2 websites with interesting troubleshooting, here I add them:

Hope this can be of help and I'd much appreciate if you let us know how it went.
I have update all drivers etc. It didn't really help.
But I already found the cause - it's just the TV's HDMI input lag. It's a Panasonic Viera which are known for having quite high input lags (65ms etc).
This is causing the difference between the mouse movement itself and the cursor movement on the screen.
I have tried it on a standard (or rather gaming grade) PC monitor and there was no lag at all, no matter what mouse/keyboard I used.
I understand, thank you for letting us know the source of the issue, Matt948
