Jump to solution

As title states, I need a gyro meter/accelerometer, pressure sensor and a sonar/infrared sensor for Edison mini- breakout board(not the Arduino board). Any suggestion, I need it to sense the orientation and movement of a robot. Please help.

Hi Thundergodz,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel Edison platform.

I highly recommend you to take a look at the UPM Sensor/Actuator repository for MRAA, there you will find a variety of sensor types that you may use in your project, here is the website: https://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/upm https://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/upm and on this other site you can find a list of the UPM libraries that can be used: https://iotdk.intel.com/docs/master/upm/modules.html https://iotdk.intel.com/docs/master/upm/modules.html.

In addition to that, I also found some threads about using the Intel Edison mini-breakout board with some sensors that you may be interested in:

Hope you find this information useful.
