PC Stick - SC1 not booting

I have an Intel PC Stick SC1 that was working fine a week ago but now it does not want to load at all.

All i am getting is a flashing light on the front of it. Assuming it was in sleep mode i have tried waking it up but with no success.

I have unplugged it and tried it on different screens using different power outlets.

Sorry if there is another thread with the same issue, i did have a look but did not find it. I also tried using troubleshooters.

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

I'm sorry for the issue you have experience with the Intel® Compute stick, in this case, if you press and hold the power button for three seconds and release it at the 4 second do you get a menu screen? If so, we can try a BIOS recovery to see if that can help.

You can download the latest BIOS version for your Intel® Compute stick here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ https://downloadcenter.intel.com/

Please see https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000005902.html BIOS Recovery Instructions for Intel® Compute Stick

If the issue persists, I suggest you to https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html# @4 contact support to get a replacement for the unit.

Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Unfortunately this does not work. I have also tried holding the power button in longer to force a shutdown but it does not work. I can only assume it is because it did not boot up to begin with. Even unplugging it and leaving it for a while (left for up to 30min at one point) doesn't change a thing. As soon as i plug it all back in i instantly get the blinking light.

I'm starting to think it may have been hit with a power surge and is now bricked. Just hoping there may be something i can do.
