I know this question has been asked, but this was about 2 years ago and I didn't understand the answer given. Can someone please help me find/make a library to interface a galileo gen 2 with a ps2 controller? I know bill Porter made one for Arduino but it give error messages when tried on the galileo. Thank you.

Hi Sickarelli,
What is the specific error?
If the problem is related to libray/ies avr dependencies as seems to be the case at
then it is a hard one. Most of the avr dependencies have not been solved yet in the Intel Galileo environment/hardware.
HTH,
Fernando.

Yes the issue is it says avr.h not found. I don't know what to do, but the Arduino library I am using is here:http://www.billporter.info/2010/06/05/playstation-2-controller-arduino-library-v1-0/ The Mind of Bill Porter.

Sorry to know about that. The only suggestion I've heard about it: "you should make your own library/adapt this library to Intel Galileo". And none of those options seem to be simple. My suggestion: use Arduino unless you find a working library.
HTH,
Fernando.
