The first compute stick I bought did the very common brick after windows update.
Just replaced it, what do I need to do to make sure this one does not brick? I have disabled windows updates but I would rather not do that if I can get the updates to not brick.

Hello RickDoll,
Thank you for joining the Intel communities.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this can be causing to you; to do the update we recommend updating the BIOS to the latest version, you can download the latest BIOS version for your unit from the following link:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000017933.html?wa... Windows® 10 Threshold 2 Update Guide
During the Windows® 10 update to version 1511 (OS Build 10586), the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 adapter may not be detected or may become disabled.
Reboot the system after the Windows update is completed. If the wireless does not work, the icon is not in the taskbar or wireless is disabled (see below). Check to see if there is a wireless icon in Device Manager. You can follow the steps at the following link:

Best regards,
Ivan
