Problem using the mraa_i2c library

Hello,

I am running into a "Segmentation fault" error when I try to run a project in Eclipse while connected to my Edison. After using Eclipse's debugger, I have deduced that the error is occuring at line 77 of the code in the image attached.

In a previous version of the library, I was encountering an error getting the context, which I worked around by reestablishing the context. However, I have since updated the libraries and the code shown no longer functions.

Thank you for the help!

Hi Ethan_Sterk,

You were not getting this error with the previous version of the library, right? Have you checked both versions of the library to see what has changed between the two? Have you checked this thread https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/internet-of-things/topic/532210 https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/internet-of-things/topic/532210? A user suggests that this might be caused because of an invalid name in the DMI tables and some other people provide possible workarounds.
