Project location other than under ~/workspace_iot

I am running Ubuntu 16.04 and starting Eclipse via iss-iot-launcher (version 12-09-06) and it will not let imported projects NOT under ~/workspace_iot build. If I try to build an imported project not under ~/workspace_iot, I get

docker exec -i lotsOfStuff /bin/bash -d "cd /home/user/path/to/project/Debug && x86_64-ostro-linux-g++ compilerSwitchesAndCommands"

/bin/bash: line 0: cd: /home/user/path/to/project/Debug: No such file or directory

It seems like I have to create my projects under ~/workspace_iot or it won't build. Any way I can get around this? Thanks.

Hi rdrdrd,

Thank you for reaching out. I believe this has been discussed before in some other thread, https://communities.intel.com/message/442173# 442173 https://communities.intel.com/message/442173# 442173. As the user stated he had to find the correct in-docker-container link to his 'libs' folder for the includes.

Please let us know if this answers your question.
