Putty freezes with Intel Edison (the Arduino board)

Hi,

I'm trying to flash the intel Edison (Arduino one) board with a yocto image. But I wasn't able to succeed. My putty freezes in an infinite loop when I try opening the COM port. Need some help in flashing the image. 

I also tried to flash from the command prompt and this is the error I got (see attached).

I don't think Putty freezes. You seem to be missing xfstk.

You might be better off using Flash Tool Lite, which includes xfstk. The original Intel link has disappeared, but may be this one is reliable: https://github.com/projectceladon/tools
