I keep seeing blogs and other pages that claim to have Qt5 running on an Intel Edison, but I haven't had any success. There is always an issue with bitbake. Has anyone able to get Qt5 running on the Intel Edison, using Qt Creator to cross compile their application?
Thank you for contacting us.
I found a guide that describe how to configure Qt5 on the Edison. I'd suggest you to take a look at http://hobby.farit.ru/qt5-gui-intel-edison/ http://hobby.farit.ru/qt5-gui-intel-edison/ . If you see any errors please let us know at which point on the guide you see an error.
I've never tried to configure Qt5 on the Edison but, the aforementioned guide was made by a community user. You can also try to contact the author of the guide for further information in case you need to know more configuration details.
Follow this guide and let us know your results.
