Quark SE C1000 : How to send sensor subsystem data to Quark SE ?

Jump to solution

Hi :

I'm using Quark SE C1000 to develop a LoRa device node.

I want use Quark SE running LoRaMac function, and use Sensor subsystem to get sensor data.

After got new sensor data, Sensor subsystem should be send data to Quark SE.

(1) Does there any suggest about how to send the data of sensor subsystem to Quark SE?

My thinking is use Flash memory to store those data, so I'm read the example :Flash_Memory_Access.

But, I don't know how to read Flash memory? The example only show write/erase flash functions.

(2) Please tell me how to read flash memory.

Thanks !@

Hi ,

You can use the Mailbox to send data between the Quark SE and the Sensor subsystem The Mailbox provides inter-processor communication via a mailbox-interrupt mechanism.

The Mailbox is located in a memory space that is accessible by all processors in the system.

For full details on this feature see the datasheet : http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/quark-c1000-datasheet.pdf http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/quark-c1000-datasheet.pdf

Also, have a look at the 'mailbox' sample application provided that demonstates the use of this feature.
