Quark X1000 wifi integration

Dear community,

we plan to make a gateway based on intel quark X1000 for our control and monitor solution.

I search for a compatible wifi chipset, but the mentioned on the Galileo forum are all discontinued by intel.

So I try to post here in order to give any more valuable feedback.

Our requirement is the double concurrent working mode (SoftAP + client) and the price at maximum 8$ for thousands unit.

There aren't any requirement on the interface used to communicate with the wifi chip, but I don't like to interact via serial interface like the espressif.

Thank you for your time,

Stefano.

Hi,

Do you mean you need a wifi product chipset that support for PCIE?

Do you mean like this product Intel-Wireless-N-7260HMWAN-Dual-Band-2x2-WiFi-Bluetooth-4-0-WiFi-Adapter-300Mbps ?

Please provide us more detail.

Hi Mohamed,

we have not any restriction for now, PCIe could be an option, but even SDIO could work for us.

The main problem is that every board that I found on the Internet like the Intel Wireless N7260 is discontinued (EOL product).

We don't want to start a project using this kind of products...

Can you help me finding any supported chipset that is not discontinued?

Best regards,

Stefano.
