Quark support on the Intel edison

Jump to solution

I'm new to the Intel Edison and I have a fundamental question. I have tried googling the status of activation of the Quark processor on the Edison to no avail.

Example: .

So I was wondering if anybody knows if both the quark and the Atom can be used in parallel.

Thanks in advance,

Aravind

Hi Aravind,

Thank you for contacting us, we'll do our best to assist you.

The MCU is already activated. All available documentation can be found here https://software.intel.com/en-us/creating-applications-with-mcu-sdk-for-intel-edison-board https://software.intel.com/en-us/creating-applications-with-mcu-sdk-for-intel-edison-board. There you'll find a brief getting started guide along with some sample code that you can use to test the tool.

One of these examples, "Communicating between the host and the MCU", shows how the MCU and the Atom can work together. Hopefully this is what you're looking for.

Let us know if you have any other question and we will try to help.

Regards,

-Pablo
