Realtek Driver is flooding syslog with debug messages

Hi to everybody,

I'm using STCK1A8LFC on a project; is there a way (except for creating a rsyslog rule, which I've already done) to disable debugging messages in RTL Wireless drivers ? After upgrade (with apt-get upgrade) of drivers, debug messages are literally flooding the syslog (one message every 1-2 seconds).

Thank you,

Luca

Hi LucaBoss,

I am not an expert in Ubuntu. I suggest you the recommendations offered by wiki.ubuntu.com

Getting NetworkManager debug logs

sudo /usr/lib/NetworkManager/debug-helper.py --nm debug

Then get the logs which will be written to /var/log/syslog. To disable it, pass info instead of debug in the above command, or reboot.
