I have a friend with the BOXSTK1AW32SC who wants to add an external hard drive. My seagate 2TB drive gives the connect/disconnect
symptoms described elsewhere in the forum. It works fine in the 2.0 port.
Brand and model of the drive aren't important. I just want to get one that works w/o a lot of hassle.
So, any recommendations?

Hello Kitler,
I can recommend some that had been officially tested for this Intel® Compute Stick model, check these;
Find more tested devices here; http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-compute-stick/000017555.html Tested Peripherals for Intel® Compute Stick STK1AW32SC and STK1A32SC.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Amy.
